Students should have essays completed tonight and they are to bring them to class tomorrow. We will edit them and have them ready to type and pass in on Friday.

Students should have the the thesis statement written, as well as paragraghs 2,3 and 4. They should have a hook and a topic sentence for their introduction which will go with their thesis statement. If students are having any trouble they should use search engines such as google or you tube which will have all the information they should be looking for.

Today we brainstormed and came up with students favourite things. Students are to use this information to create a thesis statement. This thesis statement will help students write the body of the essay.

Students should be working on their math journals at home. The journal will be due Wednesday.

Students must look over pages 175,176 and 177. They should complete the show you know section (the green block)for each example on pages 176 and 177.

LA 7A

Students must create an introduction for a 5 paragraph essay on any topic they choose.

Homework: Students are to complete their five paragraph essay on looseleaf and pass it in with their organization chart.

Homework: Use the internet to find out a very interesting fact about a pet you have, had or would like to have.
