Some students have to rewrite their paragraph from last night, because it was not completed properly. Students should be past the halfway point in their novel, if not, they should be reading nightly.

Math 8C
After writing our test on chapters 1-4, I must say I am disappointed in the lack of studying as a whole. The second term average for the class was 83 %; the class average on this test was 73 %. It makes me worried when I hear students say that you can't study for math. If the students continue with these thoughts, the high school exams will eat them up.
LA classes
Some students are still struggling with writing paragraphs. Please revisit the website I have provided and read all the information. http://www.tustin.k12.ca.us/cyberseminar/paragraph.htm#apple

La 7A
Some students have yet to pass in their corrected paragraph from Tuesday. It should be completed by tomorrow.
Students have to write a good paragraph on "homework", complete with a topic sentence, five detail sentences and a conclusion.
Today six students show up without homework completed. I see this as an ongoing problem that needs to be corrected.

There has not been many book report sheets returned signed, they should have been in school today. Students will need to bring novels to class, along with their other materials, everyday.
Our paragraph assignment did not go as well as I anticipated. It seems students have trouble reading information from a website. I will allow until this Friday for the assignment to be completed properly. The website is on my last blog.
