LA Classes
Students are to sketch a character, Mr. Sims, from the novel, Underground to Canada. They are to use the description from page 19.
Band students will be resposible for the following questions on Monday.
Chapter 2 questions: WRITE THE QUESTIONS IN YOUR SCRIBBLER!!!
1. What does Mammy tell Julilly to do if they get "sold apart"?
2. How does Sims determine Julilly would be a good slave to buy?
3. Describe Ben, Adam and Lester in brief details.
4. Write a metaphore from this chapter.
5. In your opinion, why would Sims choose two year old Willie rather than someone bigger or older?

I passed back last night's homework so students can fix their mistakes. If they don't know how to do the work they need to get extra help. There are many outlets for help, students just need to want get help.

Students received their latest test today, so you could ask to see it. We worked on area of shapes in class today, and if the students need extra help they could do problems from the book. The answers are in the back to ensure they are doing the work properly.

We are at the end of our perimeter section in chapter seven and will have a quiz on Tuesday, April 8th. Students worked on a review in class today and are to ask for help if they feel they need it.
