Today we checked homework sheet 5.1 and I gave a formative assessment for the section. We discussed how to calculate the amount of combinations using wardrobes and subway. Tonight students are supposed to look over section 6.1 and become familiar with divisibility rules.

Today we completed the addition and subtraction of fraction review and started the section 6.1 in the book, multiplying a whole number and a proper fraction using diagrams, number lines, fraction strips and paper pencil.

Today we started the review for the chapter 4 test on Friday. The review sheet should be completed for homework. Students having difficulty should access the online text and read through the help section of the concept they are having difficulty with.

Today we began section 8.5,order of operations and finding the mean. Homework on Page 315, #s 4, 6, 8 and 10. The test on Chapter 8 is this Friday.

We went to the computer lab to access online textbooks. We started section 8.5 and the homework problems are #s 4,6, 8,10 and 11 on pages 315 and 316.

We went to the computer lab to access online textbook. Reviewed outcome N7, putting fractions, decimals and percents in ascending order. We also worked on finding percent of a number mentally. There is a homework sheet that should be completed for tomorrow.
