Today we did an activity on rotational symmetry. If you were not in school, you need to:
1)draw a hubcap or wheel on a car or truck or SUV AND three other shapes around the house
2)show the centre of rotation
3)write the order of rotation
4)calculate the angle of rotation in degrees AND as a fraction of a turn

*If you need help with this refer to pages 16 - 17 in your math book.

Grade 9 Math Classes

Students will need to bring back their Course Expectations Sheet for Grade Nine Math by Friday. It will serve as their first homework assignment.

Grade 7 LA Classes

I want to welcome the students to the building and my class. The materials the students need for my LA class are: 1 binder (small), 4 pack of scribblers (so students can pass in a certain scribbler if needed), loose leaf paper and always have a pen or pencil in class.

I will be using this blog on a regular basis to post homework or assignments so please be sure to check it frequently. If you need to contact me, my email address is pccoyle@edu.pe.ca, which can also be found through our school website.
