2)show the centre of rotation
3)write the order of rotation
4)calculate the angle of rotation in degrees AND as a fraction of a turn
*If you need help with this refer to pages 16 - 17 in your math book.

LA Classes
Students are to complete their first journal entry in their journal scribbler, it has to be half page single spaced and the topic is: My First Week at SIS. Journal Entry is due Monday, September 12.
Students have an assignment that must be completed by Thursday, September 15. They have to answer four questions from 14 possible choices. They should have a handout with all the information and questions. If they have computers it would be great if they could type their assignment, if not, paper and pen is OK.

Students will need to bring back their Course Expectations Sheet for Grade Nine Math by Friday. It will serve as their first homework assignment.
Grade 7 LA Classes
I want to welcome the students to the building and my class. The materials the students need for my LA class are: 1 binder (small), 4 pack of scribblers (so students can pass in a certain scribbler if needed), loose leaf paper and always have a pen or pencil in class.
