Students have to research a famous person that had a comparible life to Edgar Allen Poe. Students were given multiple choices but could choose their own if the person fit the profile.

Today we read the story "The Fog Horn" (this can be found on the internet by typing the fog horn into a google search) and students selected three similes and one metaphor from the story. Then they were to write 3-4 lines about the meaning of the story.

Students should be working on their Secret Passage story at home. It will be completed and passed in by this Friday.
