Test on integers. May I suggest that if a student doesn't understand the material, they type it into google. example: multiplying integers or how to multiply integers.

La Classes

We have worked on a story, "The Nest" from our Step Up unit. Students are making connections in their head, however we have to work on getting those thoughts on paper.

Math classes

We are still working on integers. I was hoping all students could grasp integers by the end of the week, however some students have not showed they can do basic operations with integers.

We are starting a new unit, "Step Up". Students will be expected to make connections from discussions and readings.

We are currently working on basic math skills. Students do not have textbooks yet.

Math 8c are to complete a homework sheet tonight on multiplying and dividing with decimals.

LA Classes

* Students must have a binder with four scribblers and looseleaf for class.
Assignments:

1. Journal Entry: "My First Week at SIS" was supposed to be passed in yesterday. Success club will be assigned for those who do not have the assignment completed.

2. Creative Writing: "Secret Passage" Students are to write a 1-2 page story about their adventures of finding a secret passage. The passage can take them anywhere and anything they want can happen. The assignment is due Friday, September 17.
