Math Classes
Students have no homework. We corrected section 2.2 today. If students want extra practice they can do problems from their text books. The next section we will cover will be 2.3 so students could look ahead to become familiar with the content.

*Homework tonight: Two sided sheet on ...ONYMS. Students worked on it in class and should not have much left to finish at home.

Instructions: Create your own propaganda poster for WWII. You will need a drawing and minimal amount of words. On the back of the poster you will describe the message and the audience it is meant to influence.
*You can not copy a poster; that is plagiarism (cheating in school). It must be your creation. Try to use some of the technology we have today that they didn’t have 60 – 70 years ago.

Did Helmuth receive a fair trial?
Why was his penalty so severe?
Was his belief worth the loss of his life? Do you believe in something so strongly you would die for it?
Could Helmuth have done things differently to spread the news he heard on the BBC so it may not cost him his life?

Two groups presented their information gathered in the computer lab in class today. Tomorrow the groups for propaganda and the gestapo will present their findings.

We are working on making connections using stories, poems and songs from our literacy 7 books. Each student has their own log ins and passwords so they have the textbooks online.
Math Classes
Test on chapter 1 is tomorrow. Students not present will write on their first day back. Students should read over and understand the chapter notes, given before we started the chapter, because there will be definitions and match on the quiz.
